Kumite is a martial arts movie... parang hhmmm... bloodsport with bias toward kung fu, gangster karate kid story, pero interspersed with a love angle between a teacher and a student. nothing extraordinary about the movie, really, pero exciting naman ang mga fight scenes... and the ending of the fight scene is not completely resolved, so hindi conventional na hero-wins-the-fight-at-all-cost and resolution. :)
