Leaving Napa for what turned out to be a better place to see wineries and vineyards - Sonoma, California! Vainsa Vineyards proved to enchant us with its Tuscan-style winery setting, and the 21st and last of the California Mission Churches is also in the same area. Sonoma is quite quaint town. Off to Freestone, CA for a time of relaxation and silence, Osmosis bath and day spa is a must-go place, even if it was a bit more of a drive than usual... the Japanese ambience is an instant gratification... and this place is the only place the offers enzyme baths in the whole US of A, so I instantly grabbed the opprtunity to be buried in 600 enzymes combined with ground evergreen and rice bran. Time was not on our side when we tried to go to Point reyes Lighthouse, which is way off the HWY 1 stretch from Osmosis, so we continued driving through the winding and high altitude roads of HWY 1 along Point Reyes National Park, overlooking the pacific ocean from hundreds of feet above sea level... it's quite a feat to drive these roads... a dinner in Sausalito's famous Sushi Ran, plus meeting the owner of the ZAGAT-rated business, was a necessary consolation. Off for a late night drive to Monterey Bay for the night... it was a full, fullfilling day!!
