I've been to vegas four times, and in all those four times, Vegas showed new facets to me. It's awesome that there are new developments in the Northern part of the strip... by Treasure Island. The FashionMall is an excellent addition! South of the strip and the airport, there is this really posh outdoor shopping mall called "Town Square" that is in itself worth spending time at. There are more Cirque du Soleil shows than ever before, so it's a real treat. I also had the chance to see one of my best friends from high school; i have not seen her since graduation, so now she has a family of her own and doing very well.
