for everyone
The poverty of Sucre Bolivia is heart-breaking. Children die of all kinds of digestive diseases and viruses because of the water. There is no real source of income for most people. But somehow, they are happy. is it because of their faith, or because they really do not know what they do not have?

The dry riverbank of Calancha...
Hi Sunny!!!
Today is your birthday! Rejoice!
Happy Birthday!
And I dedicate this hurried poem to you on this occassion. Hope you like it!

"On the Track"
The faces glow radiantly amidst the biting heat
I wonder if these women know the cold on a dark Chicago winter night?
The barren land seem to be so lost and dry
And the air seem to be so still and weary
And yet, the green poses untiringly to the burning sun
Bended but unbroken
Waiting for the next rain
In the promise of the sparkling blue horizon.

We are a world of diverse colours and minds
Of differing cultures and a parallel of dreams
And yet multiculturality and a web of sentiments
Still sum up this wonderful and blessed universe -
Our home.
And so, we stick to our faith in gladness, as well as in tears
And look forward as we find strength in our hopes
Fuelling and nurturing in perseverance
The fire that burns in our hearts -
Keeping on track
Knowing this is the journey
To the eternal banquet.

May your birthday be merry and that you may be granted all what your heart desires.

God bless you!

Love and prayers,
Auntie Flavia, Mike and Oliver
