Description: Here's a sumptuous salmon for seafood lovers. I got it from Queer Eye for a Straight Guy. I have experimented on this many times, and I think I got it good. That's what happens when you live in a rectory practically all by yourself. =) The thyme and the lemon make all the difference, but I think the essence of the banana leaves makes it smell really, really good.
Ingredients: Salmon (make sure it's fresh) banana leaves to wrap olive oil pepper and salt lemon juice lemon sliced in circles thyme
Directions: Heat the banana leaves until they are not brittle, cut in squares. Put a slice of salmon of desired size on the banana leaf. Squeeze lemon juice on the salmon, dash with pepper and salt, top with thyme leaves and sliced lemons. Wrap and seal the salmon with banana leaves.
On a pyrex or baking pan, arrange the wrapped salmon and bake for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
