There are movies that are hyped because of their special effects, or because of the celebrities that play the roles, or even because of the budget, or maybe just by sheer tradition. After a while, these movies get forgotten. Not Bella. It has no big rock to stand on, and that's a good thing. It is one of those unforgettables. The themes of the story, the issues that it tackled, the reality of the world that bites you behind, the fusion of culture, belief, angst and emancipation. If i still taught philosophy, this would be the movie to show my class. 'Nuff said. Don't miss, because it is not even being released as a full-pledged Hollywood movie; it is still classified as Indie.

Pues el fin de semana pasado vimos "Bella" a Daniel, Crystal y a mí nos encantó. Esta muy, muy bonita. Daniel ya había escuchado de esta película, pero no sabíamos dónde la estaban pasando. Finalmente fuimos a Madison WI, a visitar a unos amigos, y ahí la vimos.... It is a wonderful movie. We love it...
